I have been watching social media feeds and reading the reports of San Diego economic development agencies, and have noticed an obvious trend: they are now almost exclusively helping "already successful" companies.
Recently, I was denied an attractive investment opportunity by a Boston based accelerator. I know there is nothing like that in San Diego, but since I still need the help I thought this would be a good time to put in a few phone calls to learn what I can about the status of current programs.
